Alliance have come out on top over domestic rivals EYEBALLERS in the grand final of ROG JOURNEY Spring 2026, securing the $10,000 grand prize as well as revenge for their earlier loss to Jesper "JW" Wecksell 's men in the group stage.
For their troubles, Alliance have climbed to #21 in the global Valve Regional Standings (VRS), and #16 in the European standings, putting them in contention for one of the 17 spots allocated to Europe for the IEM Cologne Major.
Alliance did not have a straightforward campaign through ROG JOURNEY, kicking off with a hard-fought victory over ReThink that required two overtime map wins, before the team faltered to EYEBALLERS in a three-map affair in Group D's winners' match.
Alliance rebounded with a win in the lower bracket over Young Ninjas to clinch a playoff spot, where the team went on to take down event favorites GamerLegion in the quarterfinals before clinching wins over Johnny Speeds and EYEBALLERS to take the title.
While Alliance are currently in range for a Major invitation according to our predictor , they have more to do if they want to try and guarantee a spot. The Swedes will now be shifting their attention to DraculaN Season 6 in Bucharest Romania, slated to begin tomorrow, where they will compete against the likes of Aurora , FaZe , and Liquid for more points in the VRS.
Alliance 's Major dream's will be best served with a deep run at DraculaN, but they will also be hoping for results to go their way at Roman Imperium Cup VII and Stake Ranked Episode 1. The former event features fellow Major hopefuls SINNERS , HEROIC , BIG , and BetBoom , while the latter fields HEROIC , Ninjas in Pyjamas , Gentle Mates , and BetBoom . Alliance will be hoping for poor showings from these squads to better improve their own chances of reaching the IEM Cologne Major.
