Just ahead of the IEM Cologne Major invite deadline on April 6, the invitations for the German Major have taken shape following the conclusions of Urban Riga Open Season 4 and HLC Belgrade PRO.
For the last two weeks, teams like BIG , HEROIC , SINNERS and Gaimin Gladiators , who were far from guaranteed places at the Major, have been competing in a variety of local LANs across the globe to make a last-ditch effort to claim their spots.
While the four aforementioned teams were fortunate enough to come out with a Major invite, several squads that tried their luck at local LANs were not quite as lucky, with FaZe , Alliance , BESTIA , Passion UA , K27 , Gentle Mates , and SemperFi being among the many teams who just narrowly missed out on a Major berth.
