Thirty-two teams compete for a $1,250,000 USD prize pool, distributed across an Opening Stage (32 teams, Swiss system), an Elimination Stage (16 teams, Swiss system), and the Playoffs (8 teams, single-elimination with every match a best-of-three). Stage 3 of the event uses no best-of-one matches, a format refinement introduced for this Major.
