MoDo is the in-game name of Mădălin-Andrei Mirea, a 22-year-old professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Romania (Europe). MoDo competes as a rifler for SINNERS Esports, the Romania player's current professional home.

The tournament runs from June 2 through June 21, 2026, with the playoff stage held at the LANXESS Arena in Cologne, Germany — one of Europe's largest indoor venues and a long-standing home of competitive Counter-Strike. Thirty-two teams compete for a $1,250,000 USD prize pool, distributed across an Opening Stage (32 teams, Swiss system), an Elimination Stage (16 teams, Swiss system), and the Playoffs (8 teams, single-elimination with every match a best-of-three). Stage 3 of the event uses no best-of-one matches, a format refinement introduced for this Major.
